Kossuth Lajos (1802-1894) politikus, volt kormányzó sajátkezű, angol nyelvű levele Samuel Gilesnek Wright szigetéről, melyben megkéri őt, hogy segítsen bizalmi emberének, Tanárky Gyulának, egy megbízható gőzhajógépgyárat találni, ahol bevásárolhat, továbbá megkéri, hogy adjon ajánlólevelet Tanárkynak, ha esetleg Bostonba is elutazik /
1858 Autograph letter of Lajos Kossuth to Samuel Giles in which Kossuth asks him to acquaint his secretary Mr. Tanarky with "the very best Steam engine works". Mr. Tanarky may also travel to Boston requiring Mr. Giles's further assistance to introduce him to others
