1917. 06.19. Az Osztrák-magyar haditengerészet S.M. U-IV tengeralattjárója a francia Edouard Corbiere hajóra tüzel a hátoldali felirat szerint. Ezen a napon a tengeralattjáró még két hajót süllyesztett el, a francia Cefirát és a görög Kerkyrát. 9x8 cm kartonon / Original black-and-white photograph pasted onto a postcard-sized piece of cardboard. According to the writing on the back, it purports to show two crewmembers of S.M. U-IV firing the submarine's cannon to sink the 475-ton French steamer Edouard Corbiere on June 19, 1917, off Gallipoli in the Gulf of Taranto. The Edouard Corbiere, launched in 1907, had been a passenger ship before being requisitioned as an auxiliary patrol vessel by the French Navy. S.M. U-IV scored three kills on that day: the French Cefira and the Greek Kerkyra.9x8 cm on cartboard
